What Is Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor?

Jul 30, 2022

The permanent magnet synchronous motor provides an excitation with permanent magnet, making the motor structure simpler, reducing processing and assembly costs, and eliminating the rare meter and brushes that are prone to problems, which improves the reliability of the motor operation. The current has no excitation loss, which improves the efficiency and power density of the motor.

Structural principle of permanent magnet synchronous motor:

The permanent magnet synchronous motor is mainly composed of stator, rotor, and end cover. The stator consumes the iron consumption generated during the operation of the motor by stacking. It is equipped with a three -phase AC winding, which is called an engine. The rotor can be made into a solid form, or it can also be suppressed by the stacker. It is equipped with permanent magnet material. Depending on the location of the permanent magnet material on the motor rotor, the permanent magnet synchronous motor can be divided into two structural forms: prominent and built -in structure. The magnetic circuit structure of the protruding rotor is simple and the manufacturing cost is low. However, because the surface cannot be installed and the starting winding is not installed, asynchronous startup cannot be achieved.

Features of permanent magnet synchronous motor:

1. High power efficiency and high power factor;

2. The cooling system is simple, small, and small noise;

3. The system adopts a fully enclosed structure, no transmission gear wear, no transmission gear noise, free lubricating oil, and maintenance;

4. Due to the large overload current, the reliability is significantly improved;

5. The weight of the transmission system is light, the weight of the spring is lighter than the traditional wheel axis transmission, and the power of the unit weight is greater;

6. Because there is no gear box, it can be designed randomly on the steering gear system, such as soft steering racks, single -axis steering racks, etc.
