Various Classifications of Motors

Motors are divided by purpose: driving motors and control motors.

Classification of electric motors for driving:

Electric motors for electric tools (such as drilling, polishing, polishing, grooving, cutting, reaming, etc.)

Household appliances (such as washing machines, electric fans, refrigerators, air conditioners, tape recorders, video recorders, DVD players, vacuum cleaners, etc.)Camera, hair dryer, Electric shaver, etc.)

Control motors are further divided into stepper motors and servo motors. 　

Classified by operating speed: high-speed motor, low-speed motor, constant speed motor, and variable speed motor.

Low speed motors are further divided into gear reduction motors, electromagnetic reduction motors, torque motors, and claw pole synchronous motors.

Speed regulating motors can be divided into stepless constant speed motors, stepless constant speed motors, stepless variable speed motors, and stepless variable speed motors. In addition, they can also be divided into electromagnetic speed regulating motors, DC speed regulating motors, PWM variable frequency speed regulating motors, and switched reluctance speed regulating motors.

The variable frequency motor adopts the AC speed regulation method of "dedicated variable frequency induction motor+frequency converter", which greatly improves the degree of mechanical automation and production efficiency, miniaturizes the equipment, and increases comfort. Currently, it is replacing traditional mechanical speed regulation and DC speed regulation schemes.

The rotor speed of an asynchronous motor is always slightly lower than the synchronous speed of the rotating magnetic field.

The rotor speed of a synchronous motor is independent of the size of the load and always remains at synchronous speed.

A specialized motor is a type of electric motor designed and used for specific industry characteristics. Common special motors include: household appliances motor, pump motor, vehicle motor, sewing motor, fan motor, air conditioning motor, textile motor, fan motor, elevator motor, range hood motor, mechanical equipment motor, washing machine motor, etc.
