1) The motor rotates with the help of magnets and magnetic forces

This is the basic principle of motor rotation.

The current flowing through the wire causes the rotating magnetic field (magnetic force) around it to rotate, which is actually the same action state as this.In addition, by winding the wire in a coil shape, the magnetic force is combined to form a large magnetic flux (magnetic flux), producing N and S poles.

Inserting an iron core into a circular wire makes it easier for the magnetic field lines to pass through and generate stronger magnetic force.

2) Actual rotating motor

Here, as a practical method of rotating motor, the method of manufacturing rotating magnetic field using three-phase AC and coil is introduced.(Three phase AC is an AC signal with 120 ° phase intervals)

The coil wound around the iron core is divided into three phases, with an interval of 120 ° and equipped with U-phase coil, V-phase coil, and W-phase coil. The coil with high voltage generates N poles, while the coil with low voltage generates S poles.

Each phase changes according to a sine wave, so the polarity (N pole, S pole) and magnetic field (magnetic force) generated by each coil will change.At this point, simply look at the coil that generates N poles and rotate it in sequence from U phase coil to V phase coil to W phase coil to U phase coil.
